2006 SHPE Latino Gala "Latino Hollywood"
For decades, Hollywood has been a symbol of beauty and accomplishment in the realm of entertainment. From Desi Arnaz to Selena Quintanilla, Latinos have had a constant and everlasting effect on the silver screen as well as on stage. This year’s gala will strive to recognize these “super-estrellas” (“super-stars”) as well as unite every Latino country by showcasing their claim to fame.
Come dine with us and enjoy performances by Drexel Student organizations including DU Bhangra, FISDU, SHPE Dance team, and more. Have your senses tantalized by authentic Hispanic cuisine catered by Victor’s Around the World and dance the night away to the rhythmic beats of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and more, provided by DJ Big Moi. Come prepared for the red carpet in semi-formal attire. The paparazzi will await your arrival.
